This project aims to give young men working in the tourism sector an ‘enjoyment of languages’. We will develop interesting resources aimed at increasing uptake of foreign languages and participation in the lifelong learning society.
The outcomes of the project were a handbook and toolbox aimed at vocational trainers working within the tourism sector. It will include materials and activities to be adapted to suit people working in various sectors of the industry including: hotel staff, bar staff and waiters.
The project aims to include the use of Information Communication Technology (ICT) as a tool for language learning as employees in the tourism sector may find online learning useful due to their often unsocial working patterns.
