AdValue intends to promote validation of non-formal and informal learning and help adults develop and assess key transferable skills during their lifetime.
Project Aims and Objectives
This project aims to help people realise what relevant soft skills they have already learned – at school, at work and in their personal lives and to value these skills in order to increase their own employability, career opportunities and sense of wellbeing.
The partners have developed and piloted 10 training modules. The training techniques and methods are based on the soft transferable skills relating to employability, education and career development.
Methodology for validation of the learning outcomes of each transferable skill include:
- Easy instructions
- An answer key
- A quality interpretation of results
- Advice on reporting back to the learner for tutors/mentors
The validation instruments are used at the beginning and at the end of the training modules for effective evaluation of learning outcomes and the training quality.
