Company Day on 19th June
01 June, 2018
This year's Company day will be held at the National Coal Mining Museum in Wakefield on 19th June. It will be split into two parts. One session will be an interactive discussion about charitable status with members of our Board led by our Chairman, Ian Hartley. The other session will be more relaxed offering the opportunity to visit the museum exhibitions and displays and to take a tour of the mine which is a safe and enjoyable experience - it comes highly recommended! We are hoping that we will all be able to enjoy a talk about mining and its former importance to the local communities.
Agenda for the day:
9.30am: Arrival at NCM for tea, coffee and biscuits
10am: Talk on coal mining
10.30am - 12.15pm: Discussion & planned activities
1.30pm - 3.15pm: Discussion & planned activities
Finish: Approx: 3.15pm - 3.30pm.
Coaches will be available on the day should you require transport to and from the event. Your co-ordinators for each are as follows:
Jane Elsworth-Barker: York, Scarborough, North Yorks
Kate Holdsworth: Leeds, Doncaster, Deswbury, Walefield, Bradford sites, Barnsley, Halifax
