Targeted Services awarded 3 new contracts

Aspire-igen’s Targeted Services team is currently delivering on 3 contracts in Leeds, targeting vulnerable young people to help them with their entry to education and employment.
A 4 week group work programme aimed at 16 & 17 year olds who are currently NEET. It aims to identify skills and raise aspirations in order to encourage progression into learning.
Ready 4 Work
A 12 week employability programme for 17-24 year old Care Leavers who are currently unemployed. Activities include group work and a residential, plus a 6 week work placement with Leeds City Council.
A 14 week employability programme for 18-24 year olds who are currently unemployed and in receipt of JSA. The programme includes 4 weeks of prep, an 8 week work placement and 2 weeks of follow up support.

Active Engagement Project
The Targeted Services Team have been delivering the Active Engagement Project in Craven and Rydedale since September 2012 and we are delighted to announce that a contract extension has been granted to continue the service until August 2017. The project, which supports young people in year 11 into post-16 opportunities, is funded by, and in partnership, with North Yorkshire County Council and is run as part of the North Yorkshire Youth Support Service arrangement.
