Step Up Into Construction

Aspire-igen is a delivery partner for the ‘Step Up Into Construction’ project, providing you with the knowledge and training you need to get into a career in the construction industry.
The project intends to address the major skills shortages in this field and the need for up to 224,000 new jobs in the industry. It will enable unemployed or inactive people to take part in valuable and relevant work placements and develop the skills required for a succesful career in construction.
As part of the project, aspire-igen are offering information, advice and guidance to those seeking a career in the industry. Suitable candidates are then put through 3 weeks of Health & Safety and Construction Training, plus provided with the opportunity to gain the CSCS card.

The Step Up Into Construction project is funded by the England European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme (ESIF) 2014-2020 and match funded by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).
