The Canteen launches Business Club
08 August, 2018
The Canteen is situated on Cheapside, Bradford, with its accompanying Cookery school next door. It is the latest community venture for aspire-igen, a social enterprise specialising in employability training and guidance which is based at The Opportunity Centre next door to The Canteen.
The Canteen and Cookery School was started as an initiative to support young people into the hospitality industry to help to address the growing skills gap in this sector. Learners on the Hospitality & Catering course develop the skills they need to progress in the industry in The Cookery School, before putting the skills into practice preparing food and serving customers in The Canteen. The Canteen was recognised for its contribution to the industry by being shortlisted for Job Creator of the Year at the recent Bradford Means Business Awards 2018.
The bright and modern cafe is the ideal place for people to meet and do business. The Canteen is therefore pleased to announce that they have introduced an exclusive Business Club. The Canteen is ideally located in the city centre and members will benefit from free WiFi. Participants will be able to hold meetings whilst enjoying 15% discount on food and drinks between 7.30am and 11am (eat-in only – certain exclusions apply).
This is a great way for local businesses to support their community. For further details of how to join the Business Club, please email Joe Grant at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact him on 0330 111 0035.
